With construction costs on the up from suppliers and time constraints impacting the industry.

Its blows us away that builders are still quoting jobs per m2 (price per square meter) without engaging suppliers for accuracy up front.

Many builders will be using out dated m2 rates making it seem like your construction is low but once your building then it increases tenfold if your on cost plus or if your in a fixed contract then your builder is going bust within the next couple of years, making no money.

Its a crazy time at the moment. Clients expectations are sometimes not realistic to whats happening currently in the construction industry.

But one thing we do know, increasing house pricing only means its worth investing in quality building projects.

Use a quality builder who is will provide accurate figures at the start, this means it might take a month for them to get back to you and it will cost you up front.

Building with peace of mind definitely makes up for it ☑️
